針．友．趣–姚明芬聯展
藝術家姚明芬以「亂針繪繡」展現傳統女紅的創新魅力。亂針繪繡，又名飛針繡，結合繪畫與刺繡技法，以針代替筆、以布代替紙、以絲線代替顏料，線條交織中呈現光影層次，遠觀如畫，近看亂中有序，展現立體感與豐富細節。
此次展覽匯集姚老師21年的個人創作與教學成果，主題涵蓋自然景物與個人情感，透過亂針繪繡重新定義傳統刺繡，充分體現這項技法的藝術性與感染力。針線間傳達創作者對生活藝術的熱忱，邀您走進針與線交織的世界，感受這門傳統與創新交融的藝術形式之美。
Threads of Charm – Joint Exhibition by Ming-Fen YAO
Artist Ming-Fen YAO brings a modern allure to traditional embroidery through the art of freestyle embroidery (needle painting). Also known as flying needle embroidery, this technique merges painting with embroidery, replacing the brush with a needle, paper with fabric, and paint with silk threads. In the interplay of woven threads, layers of light and shadow emerge—distantly resembling a painting, yet up close, revealing an intricate balance of chaos and order, exuding depth and meticulous detail.
This exhibition showcases 21 years of Ming-Fen YAO’s personal creations and teaching journey. From depictions of nature to deeply personal expressions, her work redefines traditional embroidery through the lens of freestyle embroidery (needle painting), highlighting its artistry and emotional resonance. Each thread embodies the artist’s passion for life and art, inviting visitors to step into a world woven with needle and thread and experience the beauty of this harmonious blend of tradition and innovation.
