城市．意象—都市觀察日記 謝文哲攝影個展
本展為攝影創作者謝文哲的當代視覺紀錄個展。藝術家以「漫遊者」的旁觀視角，將城市與城鄉交界的日常景致轉化為空間日誌，透過鏡頭凝視光影消長、常民空間慣習與民間信仰的生命張力。作品以 24 小時的時間軸為索引，記錄自然、生活等在晝夜交替間的質變過程。
展覽循序展開兩個攝影章節：「無人之序」紀錄在都會或自然中，無人空間的聚集；以高反差黑白攝影手法，尋找無人空間的線條與視覺張力；「日常流動」則記錄人們在都市生活中的百態，呈現個體於都市網格中棲息的樣貌。
本次展出全數採用典藏級數位微噴技術精準輸出，還原極致的光影階調與細節，並結合動態影像敘事。展覽引導觀者跟隨光影流動，重新凝視熟悉街廓中的詩意瞬間。
City of Images: A Journal of Urban Observation by Wen-Zhe, HSIEH
This exhibition is a solo presentation of photographer Wen-Zhe, HSIEH’s contemporary visual documentation. Adopting the detached gaze of a flâneur, the artist transforms everyday scenes of the city and its urban-rural fringes into a spatial journal. Through his lens, he observes the shifting play of light and shadow, the spatial habits of ordinary people, and the vital energy of folk beliefs. Structured along a 24-hour timeline, the works document the subtle transformations of nature and daily life as day gives way to night.
The exhibition unfolds through two photographic chapters. “The Order of Absence” documents unpeopled spaces across the city and the natural world, using high-contrast black-and-white photography to seek out their lines and visual tension. “The Flow of Everyday Life” captures the myriad ways people live in the city, revealing how individuals inhabit the urban grid.
All works in the exhibition are produced using archival-grade digital giclée printing, faithfully rendering the finest gradations of light, shadow, and detail, complemented by moving-image narratives. Following the flow of light and shadow, viewers are invited to look anew at familiar streets and discover the poetic moments quietly held within them.
